Matthew Hall is a Professor of Psychology and Education, and Chair of the Department of Psychology, KIMEP University, Almaty, Kazakhstan. Since 2016 his research has focused on digital gender-sexual violations (DGSV) examining perpetrator motivations, impacts on victim-survivors and the wider social implications they may face, the (dis)continuities and blurrings between online/offline violations, implications for organizations and communities, and more recently the bounded limitlessness of DGSV. He has worked with organizations such as the UK Law Commission and the Canadian International Centre for the Prevention of Crime on legislative recommendations. He works with NGOs in Nordic countries to develop impact measures for their work with men and boys. And, he works with the media to highlight and raise public awareness of DGSV.
